New personal best. Really pleased with a 614, and there’s still room to grow. Shot two through the clicker that landed in the white, so there were definitely points left out there. A bit more strength and less hesitation, and I think 630 is within reach. Also checked off two season goals: making the 1/16th round and picking up a gold in a shoot off.

Lat session before National Tour Stage 2 on Sunday! Did the classic, all gold end, then started overthinking things.

Had a go with shooting my heavier limbs to start building up a bit of strength since the hand fracture. Mostly feel good! About 40lb on the fingers, I really like the feel of these old w&w ex powers, but they do stack a fair bit more than my axia's

First session over 200 arrows since injuries. Felt pretty decent! Was a bit jet lagged so certainly contributed to some of the lazy shots. First WA70 was a 539 (had a miss, whoops!) Second went a bit better with 566

A strong first half of 297 but bottled it a little in the last end. A lesson not to try too hard.

A windy one! Some gnarly 30mph gusts. Shot a lot more 10s then usual, but had a few that really got away from me.

Kicking off the season with a beautiful day at Lilleshall. 22c and next to no wind. After a strong first end, I found myself trying a little too hard and tensing up. By the afternoon I was able to relax and let my shot flow.

Last session at the range before National Tour on Saturday. Was a bit gusty, but shot around my current average handicap. Bring on the weekend!
